About us
Mackworth Products Ltd. have been manufacturing and supplying health care products for over 25 years, and currently our patient lifting slings and paraplegic chairs are sold all over Europe.
We have a very active research and development department. Prior to introducing a new product, a comprehensive analysis of existing products will reveal any problems which we then “design-out”. It was this policy which gave rise to the Dosec® Clip (See Menu).
Mackworth’s products are of the highest quality standards. These standards are maintained by only purchasing the best materials and using computer controlled sewing machines combined with laser technology. A carefully controlled production process, that encompasses a Zero Defect Policy and highly skilled operatives, completes the package.
All our products are manufactured in the UK as are all the materials used in the product range.
Wherever possible Mackworth has introduced products which impart an antimicrobial function, which combats hospital associated infections (HAI’s) such as M.R.S.A., salmonella, listeria, legionella pneumonia, staphylococcus aureus, E-coli, etc. etc. etc..
The combination of all these elements mean that we can still say at least in this case, “British is Best”
